Such a cliche, but it is one of the grandest descriptions of love. Love is a feeling that could never be defined exactly. It is a simple word that can only be felt but cannot be given exact meaning and sometimes it cannot be given justice. What really is LOVE?
Many are mislead by the word LOVE. For some it is happiness, but for others it is misery and sufferings. It never fails, but then it hurts. Too many counterfiets, it maybe because for everything that god has made, the devil has improvised a counterfiet. But do you know the counterfiet of LOVE? Well it is infatuation.
In order for us humans to discern the counterfiet from the genuine, let us examine some differences.
- Infatuation is ruled by feelings, but love is not controlled by feelings. It does not do anything and everything it feels. Rather in true love, the feelings are under the control of principle.
- Infatuation is in a hurry, but love takes time-time to know and time to grow, for their is no "shortcut."
- Infatuation is obsessed with externals but love is concerned with internals.
